In this training, participants will learn blockchain technology-related terms, create a wallet, and begin to understand how to make simple economic transactions through smart contracts. Blockchain-based cryptocurrency (such as Bitcoin and Ethereum) will be discussed and the future of blockchain’s potential as it relates to cybersecurity and its potential economic impact will be explored. The NCC has a goal to make our community the most blockchain-literate community in the nation, so bring your laptop as you’ll be learning how cryptocurrencies work in real time!
